The Bamboo Heavy is stiffer than the Medium, suited for riders up to ~240 lbs with 92mm Karma Wheels and a 50°/4043° Truck setup. Heavier riders can add risers and bigger Wheels for clearance. Flex is like a 7.5-ply maple, not as stiff as the 8-ply maple/glass version. Above 230 lbs (or if you prefer a stiffer ride), consider the 8-ply maple for extra support.
